A challenging demolition project involving structural alteration, located in the heart of Dublin City Centre, on the busy Dawson Street / Molesworth Street corner

Works at Nr 40 Molesworth Street involved;

· The complete strip out of an existing office block back to shell,

· Various Asbestos removals throughout the building

· Extensive structural alterations

· Complete removal of an existing concrete Plantroom at roof level,

· Removal of all external brickwork facades,

· Removal of internal staircores and lift shafts

· Creation of new opes throughout each floor

· New basement level lift pits and bases.

The extensive plantroom and upper floor were demolished using a selection of robotic demolition machines. We also performed extensive sawcutting and craning out of structural elements and plant / equipment.

A challenging demolition project involving structural alteration, located in the heart of Dublin City Centre, on the busy Dawson Street / Molesworth Street corner, adjacent to a church, the Dail, and numerous other business users, we completed the demolitions with little disruption to the surrounding people and district within a demanding programme.
