Former Smithwicks Brewery, Kilkenny

The former Smithwicks Brewery located in Kilkenny city was de-commissioned and dismantled by The Tinnelly Group. This was a substantial project involving careful dismantling, salvage of plant and equipment, retention of numerous protected structures, asbestos removals, and overall site clearances.

Numerous tank farms, piperacks and buildings were scrapped and processed on site for re-cycling, using a selection of our plant and equipment.

Large warehouses, production plant buildings and structures were de-constructed / demolished across the site

The Tinnelly Group also conducted large scale equipment extraction and salvage from the plant and co-ordinated their sale and transfer around the world, dealing with numerous global brokers.
