Tara Towers

Tara Towers Demolition

In 2019, Tinnelly Group carried out the site clearance, involving asbestos removal and complete demolition of the 7 storey, reinforced concrete frame structure on Merrion Road D4.

Overlooking Dublin Bay & Booterstown Nature Reserve, within a mixed residential / commercial area.

On completion of specialist asbestos removal, and a full internal strip out, all structures were demolished using a high reach excavator.

Approximately 8,000 tonnes of demolition rubble was crushed on site and used as a piling mat, saving almost 800 vehicle movements and over 3,000 m3 of virgin stone.
